Clare and Ben
Free to Be Fully Present
Venue: Trump Turnberry Hotel, Girvan, Scotland
She led the rehearsal the evening before, walking our families and wedding party through everything. You could feel the nerves settle in the room.
My cousin played piano for the ceremony. He's an exceptional musician but had never played a wedding, and Oana worked with him so closely that the timing was seamless.
The best thing I can say is that we didn't think about logistics once. We were just there, in it, the whole day.

Free to Be Fully Present
Every wedding I coordinate becomes a part of my story, but Clare and Ben’s wedding was particularly meaningful.
I knew how important it was that every element of their day reflected not only who they were as a couple, but also the rich Jewish traditions that would shape their celebration. I took the time to meet with Rabi Kamila, learn and understand the significance behind each custom, ensuring that every moment was approached with respect, care, and attention to detail. It wasn’t simply about following a timeline; it was about honouring traditions that carried deep meaning for the couple and their families.
The evening before the wedding, I led the rehearsal, bringing together family members, and the wedding party. Rehearsals are about much more than logistics, they’re about creating confidence. By walking everyone through the ceremony and the flow of the day, I could see nerves begin to settle and excitement take their place.
One of the highlights of the planning process was working alongside Clare’s cousin, who was also the pianist for the ceremony. When an exceptional musician, he never performed at weddings, yet he adjusted the rhythm and timing perfectly.
Watching Clare and Ben fully immersed in each moment was incredibly rewarding. Those are the moments I work for. Not because everything runs perfectly, but because the couple is free to experience their wedding day exactly as they dreamed it would be.
The greatest compliment I can receive is knowing that I gave them the freedom to be fully present. To me, that is what wedding coordination is truly about: creating calm amidst the excitement, honouring every meaningful detail, and allowing a couple to simply enjoy one of the most important days of their lives.
