Pui And Robert

When Less Became Everything

A Wedding Measured In Meaning, Not Size

Pui and Robert’s wedding was a quiet, deeply personal celebration, shaped not by tradition, but by intention.

Coming from Austria and Hong Kong, they chose to marry in the UK, mindful of not placing the weight of travel and expectations on their families. What mattered most to them wasn’t scale, but meaning. In the end, their guest list was just three.

Their vision was simple, yet not easy to achieve. They dreamed of a church-like setting, despite not belonging to a religion that could offer one. Finding a place that felt right became their first concern, followed closely by the quiet worries that often come with such an intimate day, arriving on time, remembering every detail, and allowing themselves to truly be present.

From the beginning, the focus was on removing that pressure. From personally driving them to and from their venue in the Yorkshire Dales, to helping Pui step calmly into her day, every detail was handled so they didn’t have to carry it themselves.

Despite the grey skies and winter chill, what unfolded was a day filled with warmth, ease, and connection. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the landscape, they were able to slow down, be present, and fully experience each moment as it came.

Sometimes, the smallest weddings leave the deepest imprint. This was one of them.
